To qualify for the $25 referral bonus, the member being referred must provide the referral code on the application when opening the account either online, by mail or in-person (at a branch or onsite). One code per referred account. Referral codes will not be accepted after the account has been opened. If multiple codes are supplied, no bonus will be paid.
Accounts eligible to refer/be referred are Regular Member Accounts, including teen accounts. Promotion excludes Health Savings (HSA), Business, Trust, Representative Payee, Custodial, Kids Club and other special accounts. Employees and volunteers of First Financial are not eligible. Membership eligibility required. $1 opening deposit required. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer. New accounts must meet all requirements to be eligible for the referral bonus. If the referred account is not approved or does not meet requirements no bonus will be paid to either party (referring or referred member).
Referral bonuses will be deposited to member’s Savings 01 share on or about the 45th day after the referred account was opened and all criteria met. Members and accounts must be in good standing at the time the bonus is to be paid in order to receive referral bonuses. Bonuses will not be paid on closed accounts. Members who have closed their accounts within six months prior to being referred are not eligible.
In accordance with applicable regulations, reward(s) are subject to reporting on IRS Form 1099-INT.
